Classes meet once a week. Students may also use open studio hours to work independently on projects. Students come into class with a variety of skill levels and experiences. We focus on theme based projects that build on prior skills and knowledge while exploring new techniques and self discoveries.

Classes are taught by a certified art teacher with 28 years of experience. Students will enjoy learning a variety of hand-building techniques while also having lessons on the pottery wheel.

Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing with Dee Schaad in this two-day figurative sculpture workshop. Explore humorous and expressive forms while sculpting on day one and glazing on day two. Clay, glazes, and firing are included with the workshop.​

This is your chance to experience a hands-on private lesson in clay! Reservations need to be made two weeks in advance. Pop-up are for individuals and small groups. Class may last up to 2 hours leaving time for introductions and clean-up. Additional projects may be kept and glazed for $5.00 each. Projects will be picked up 3 weeks following the Pop-up event.

Private Parties last 2 hour and have a recommendation of 7 people. Additional people may participate at $40 per individual. Participants choose in advance if they want to throw on the pottery wheel or hand build. Each person may keep 2 projects and have their piece glazed from a variety of glazes. Parties may bring food and drinks and decorations.

Do you have a strong knowledge base in ceramics and just need a place to work on your personal goals and art? The "Studio Artist" option gives one the opportunity to pursue their arts independently. Buck Creek pottery offers sessions based on class time frames. Studio Artists must pay at the beginning of the session.​
